XY T rosette with 2 measuring grids for biaxial mechanical stress analysis.
XY T-rose strain gauges, which have 2 measuring grids arranged with a 90° deflection. Typical applications for these strain gauges are biaxial mechanical stress measurements with known principal directions or measurements
With a range of XY1, XY3, XY7, XY9, XY10 types, you have a wide choice of geometries and sizes, each available in temperature self-compensating versions for different materials (7 options for different materials - see strain gauge catalogue) and with nominal (rated) resistance of 120 or 350 ohms.
The measuring grid is made of constantan. The material of the measuring grid carrier is polyimide.
Strain gauges fitted with an output cable - XY3 - are also available.
