SomatXR data acquisition system: robust and extremely flexible for mobile testing and test stands

The SomatXR data acquisition system enables extremely reliable and accurate operation in harsh environments and is protected from moisture, dust, shock and vibration. The modular DAQ system can be used in a variety of applications such as mobile vehicle testing, stationary measurement and structural health monitoring. The modules are suitable for operation over a wide temperature range and can be easily and flexibly combined in centralized or distributed configurations. The SomatXR system and the catman® data acquisition software allow you to perform testing and measurement tasks interactively and always have complete visibility and control. However, it is also possible to select a stand-alone black box recording mode to ensure efficient and reliable long-term testing.

SomatXR - your individual data collection system

The modular architecture of the SomatXR DAQ allows you to implement your own measurement system - using the DAQ data logging software and Catman or with connected PC and Catman data acquisition software. In addition, SomatXR modules can be integrated in various ways into test bench applications or ECU optimization software and flexibly combined with QuantumX modules.

• MX840B-R - eight-channel universal control panel with the ability to connect up to many different sensor technologies
• MX1615B-R - sixteen-channel control panel for measurements with full strain gauge bridges and strain gauge half bridges and quarterbridges
• MX1601B-R - 16-channel control panel for measuring active sensors such as IEPE/ICP sensors, voltage up to 60V and others
• MX1609KB-R/MX1609TB-R - 16-channel control panels for measuring with K/T type thermocouples
• MX411B-R - four-channel control panel for highly dynamic measurements with many types of sensor technologies, sampling up to 200kS/s
• MX460B-R - four-channel universal counter for frequency measurement, pulse counting, connection of HBM torque transducers (T12, T40) and incremental transducers
• MX471B-R - four-channel interface control panel CAN, support CAN-FD and classical CAN (including CCP and xCP-on-CAN)
• MX590B-R - five-channel control panel with built-in pressure sensors, individually configurable ranges

Data recorders/gateways:

• CX22B-R-W – Data recorder for SomatXR systems, including software catman and connection via WiFi, for automatic monitoring systems and autonomous measurement systems
• CX27C-R - Gateway - output module for up to 199 signals per bus EtherCAT or PROFINET IRT, data stream to Ethernet TCP/IP (processing in catman software)
