U2B - Strain/pressure transducer up to 200kN
U2B: Proven force transducer for tensile and pressure applications.
The U2B strain gauge is the proven industry standard for measuring tensile and compressive forces - reliable, robust and durable.
The U2B strain gauge is used in many static and dynamic industrial applications with tensile and compressive forces up to 200kN. Thanks to its robustness (stainless steel hermetically sealed sensor body, IP67) it can be used even under harsh conditions such as force measurement in pressing and forming processes.
The U2B series has been further enhanced: in addition to the familiar configurations, the sensor is now also available with an integrated amplifier with current (4-20mA) or voltage (0-10V) output. The dimensions remain unchanged.

New: Optional U2B with integrated amplifier.
The amplifier is adapted to the sensor. This brings the following advantages:
- Speed - With a bandwidth of 2 kHz, the amplifiers are also ideal for fast processes.
- Reliability - The active transducer meets the same stringent shock and vibration resistance requirements as the non-amplified version.
- Ambient conditions - The amplifier is robust in all areas of use and is optimally suited for industrial applications thanks to its IP67 rating and the use of exclusively stainless steel materials.
- Calibration - The amplifier converts a power signal (N) to a current or voltage signal (mA or V). Calibration certificates according to DKD R3-3 or ISO376 are also available for the U2B with measurement amplifier (optional, extra service).
- Accuracy - Both versions, with and without integrated amplifier, have the same accuracy class.
