Three-axis acceleration sensor (3D accelerometer)
Acceleration sensors developed by PJM meet the highest requirements: they can withstand the harsh conditions of on-board measurements, have high temperature stability, operate with precision for subsequent data analysis, do not exhibit overload under short-term, very high frequency stimuli, and are excellent for use in technical ride testing and operational strength measurements.
The PJM 3D accelerometer is an extension of the PJM LN series of single-axis sensors. The three measuring axes can be equipped with sensor elements with different measuring ranges, making the sensor ideal for repetitive measuring points (e.g. axle bearings). The space-saving design enables universal mounting and saves valuable time during assembly.
- Measurement of static acceleration (e.g. gravity)
- Applicable in harsh environments
- No overload during short-term high-frequency stimuli
- Excellent for use in driving tests and operational strength measurements
- Frequency limit high enough for vibration measurement (up to 4kHz for ±400g range)
- Very low noise level up to (5μg/√Hz at ±2g range)
- low transverse sensitivity ~ 2 %
Measuring ranges:
± 2g, ± 5g, ± 10g, ± 25g, ± 50g, ± 100g, ± 200g, ± 400g
