TIM-PN/EC
TIM-PN/EC: digital measurement over PROFINET (TIM-PN) or EtherCAT (TIM-EC).
The TIM-PN and TIM-EC modules are very fast and therefore ideal for highly dynamic applications. They integrate torque force and speed signals into higher level test machine control systems. These digital dual-channel modules are also suitable for simultaneous transmission of measurement data, e.g. from a series encoder T40, T12 and now also sensors T210 to two different networks, depending on the design - Profinet or EtherCat.
In embodiments TIM-PN with ProfiNet communication or in the design TIM-EC with EtherCat communication.

Simple configuration without additional software for fast system integration
- Torque and rotational speed signals can be transmitted simultaneously to two PROFINET or EtherCAT interfaces, depending on the design.
- Torque signal: in addition to the TMC (Torque Measurement Communication) interface, an RS422 frequency input is available
- Speed signal: It is possible to connect the speed encoders built into the HBM torque transducers, but also external encoders
TIM modules also allow real-time calculations such as:
- Speed of rotation including direction of rotation
- Angle of rotation including its direction
- Current performance (calculation from torque and rotational speed)
