Leave the soldering to HBK and avoid a potential source of error by ordering pre-soldered strain gauges. Below is an overview of available RoHS compliant strain gauges with different cable configurations.

Frequently ordered configurations ("Highly Preferred Strain Gauge Types") are available as finished products in small quantities (for packages of up to 10 strain gauges) from stock within two weeks or up to one week with an additional charge for express shipping.

Less frequently ordered configurations ("Medium Preferred Strain Gauge Types") are available as assemblies and are ready to order in small quantities (packs of up to 5 strain gauges) within 2-4 weeks.

Configurations that are not as regularly requested ("Other strain gauge types") have a lead time of 12-14 weeks.

HBM strain gauges meet current RoHS requirements and new materials have been used in the manufacture of the stranded connecting wires which are more flexible and easier to use. The TPE insulated cables allow use in a temperature range from -40 °C to 120 °C.

Simplified documentation and parameterization:

To optimize the documentation of the measuring point, each package contains two strain gauge stickers that can be placed next to the measuring point and near the measuring amplifier. Use the parameter information directly in the measurement setup:

• QR code that directly links to the data sheet of the corresponding strain gauge
• Product and batch number
• k-factor and additional space for your notes
• QR code containing individual strain gauge values to simplify computer parameterization or documentation using a scanner

Please note: As this is a new product, only newly manufactured strain gauges are supplied with a sticker. In case of delivery of previously manufactured strain gauges, the sticker is not included.

 

Highly preferred strain gauge types:

Often desired strain gauge configurations that are suitable for most common measurement tasks are referred to as highly preferred. They are available from stock within two weeks or within a week with an extra charge for express shipping for packages containing up to 10 strain gauges. The manufacturer has strain gauges in stock in Europe. Larger quantities may be available quickly if sufficient stock is available.

All strain gauges fitted with cable and 50mm fluoropolymer insulated wire are constructed in four-wire technology as standard. If required, these products can also be ordered in three-wire technology. All versions are supplied with free cable ends and without connector/plug.

Strain gauges with cables, many of which are always in stock and can be completed quickly.

Delivery time up to 2-4 weeks for packages containing up to 5 strain gauges. Minimum order quantity is 1 pack.
