T22
T22: Affordable torque transducer for standard industrial applications.
Installation and operation of the T22 sensor as well as its integration into your measurement and test tasks are quick and easy:
- Built-in measuring electronics - the sensor is always equipped with measuring electronics, saving time and costs - no need for additional external modules
- Quick installation - suitable bellows couplers are available for all ranges
- small built-in dimensions - perfectly suited for test machines where the built-in space is always cramped
In short, the T22 measures the moment of force transmitted by the rotor using strain gauges and non-contact power supply and transmission of the measured signal. The accuracy class is 0.5 according to HBM's demanding corporate criteria
The sensor is available in measuring ranges 0.5Nm - 1kNm. These are ranges often requested in industry for measuring static and dynamic force meters in both stationary and rotating assemblies.
Typical areas of deployment are laboratories, test measurements and education. Production control and production parameter testing are other application areas of the T22 - the sensor allows direct connection to a PLC. A wide supply voltage range of 11.5 - 30VDC and two analogue outputs of ±5 V or 10 ±8 mA are important parameters in this respect.
A junction box is available as an accessory VK20A, containing terminal blocks for all signals, protection circuits and additional power stabilization. VK20A increases operational safety and is used to integrate the sensor into a complete measurement chain. Bellows couplings with clamp connections to the encoder shafts are also available as accessories, the adjustment of the bore diameter for the input and output shaft connection to customer specifications is included in the price of the couplings.
