The T21WN type sensors are no longer manufactured. The direct replacement is the type T210.

The T21WN torque transducer is specifically designed for measuring static and dynamic torque force, rotational speed and rotational angle in laboratories, testing and inspection sectors for process control and production quality improvement.

The T21WN's integrated encoder bearings secure the rotor position relative to the stator and simplify handling during assembly. Built-in electronics with a ±10 V output signal reduces the cost of the downstream measurement chain. A frequency output of 10+-5kHz is also new for this sensor.

Thanks to the frequency output, the T21WN can be used with modules TIM-EC for EtherCAT and TIM-PN for Profinet interfaces that provide maximum performance and high flexibility in integrating torque and rotational speed signals to control state-of-the-art test systems.

Another new feature compared to the previous T20WN sensor is that the optical system for measuring rotational speed and rotational angle works up to 20,000 rpm (depending on the nominal sensor range of 20,000/19,000/1,500 rpm).

 

Available as an accessory is the VK20A junction box, containing terminal blocks for all signals, protection circuits and additional power stabilization. The VK20A increases operational safety and serves to integrate the sensor into a complete measurement chain. Bellows couplings with clamp connections to the encoder shafts are also available as an accessory; customization of the bore diameter for the input and output shaft connections is included in the price of the couplings.
