SLH700 - Active voltage sensor (extensometer) with IP68
The SLH700 tensile strain gauge has minimal impact on the object being measured, allowing it to be used to monitor even minimal load changes.
Extensometers such as the SLH700 series measure forces indirectly and are characterised by their simple but effective functionality. When a force is applied to the structure on which the sensor is mounted, deformations occur, the magnitude of which depends on the force applied. Therefore, even large forces can be measured economically after calibration of the SLH700 sensor.
The SLH700 strain gauges are made of stainless steel materials, are hermetically sealed and have a high degree of protection (IP68). Their PUR cable is resistant to most oils and many other potentially aggressive liquids. Thanks to the voltage concentrator, the output signal is six times higher than a simple strain gauge.
SLH700 series strain gauges can be purchased with or without an integrated amplifier, allowing a choice of analogue output signals. All variants can be easily mounted, requiring only two standard M6 screws.
