SLB700A - Strain gauge voltage sensor (extensometer)
The SLB700A strain gauge is designed for measuring stresses in statically and dynamically loaded structures.
Stress monitoring by strain measurement allows you to have an overview of the actual load on the exposed part at a specific point in a defined direction. Using a multi-sensor assembly, you can thus measure, for example, the press force by measuring the deformation from multiple columns of the press, where a parallel connection in one amplifiers the total force from all connected strain sensors is sensed. Alternatively, with a set of 4 sensors + 4 amplifiers monitor the distribution of the press force or select the product directly SLB700/06VA with built-in amplifier and analogue output.
The sensors are versatile - you can deploy them for monitoring iron truss structures such as measuring bridge loads, detecting roof loads due to snow cover, weight (fill) of silos and bunkers, crane girder loads, etc. Thanks to the voltage concentrator, the output signal is six times higher than a simple strain gauge.
The sensors are made of stainless steel and are protected from harmful environmental influences thanks to the PUR cable sheathing.
