SLB700/06VA - Active Voltage Sensor (Extensometer)

 

The SLB700/06VA strain gauge with analogue output is designed for measuring strain in statically and dynamically loaded structures.

Stress monitoring by strain measurement allows you to have an overview of the actual load on the exposed part at a specific location in a defined direction. Using a multi-sensor setup, you can measure, for example, the distribution of the pressing force by measuring the deformation from multiple columns of the press, or the stress at different locations on the monitored structure. The sensor has an integrated amplifier with an analog output of 0...10VDC (1...9VDC) or 4...20mA (5.5...18.5mA), which allows you to sense the signal using a higher-level system. If your application requires sensing of sum power (parallel sensor sequencing) then please choose the sensors SLB700A together with a suitable amplifier.

SLB700/06VA sensors are versatile - you can deploy them for monitoring iron truss structures such as measuring bridge loads, detecting roof loads due to snow cover, weight (fill) of silos and bins, crane girder loads, etc. Thanks to the voltage concentrator, the output signal is six times higher than a simple strain gauge.

The sensors are made of stainless steel and are protected from harmful environmental influences thanks to the PUR cable sheathing.
