PW29/PW29P

Hermetically sealed PW29 single point force transducers for the highest loads and large weighing platforms. The force transducers are made of stainless steel and optimally suited for high loads, for example in the beverage, food or even pharmaceutical industry.

The PW29 offers reliable measurement results in accordance with OIML R60 regulations even under demanding operating conditions. This is due to the sophisticated design of the measuring body, specially optimized strain gauge applications and robust construction.

In addition, the PW29 meets the highest IP68/IP69k rating requirements. Use in dusty environments is not a problem, as are applications involving exposure of the sensor to water and moisture. Even high pressure cleaning or aggressive cleaning agents do not affect the reliable operation of this sensor.

Whether it's conventional scales in the process industry, food production or pharmaceuticals, the PW29 is ideally suited for large platforms that can now be weighed with this single point encoder.

Typical uses of this sensor include a large number of applications such as:

• floor scales
• conveyor scales
• weighing of containers

 

The PW29 series meets the accuracy requirements of the C3MR class and can be used for commercial weighing thanks to OIML certification.

Adjustable overload protection, four threaded holes for mounting the sensor and the scale mounting plate guarantee high mechanical resistance and reliability. Integrated threaded adapters allow the use of other professional cable protection systems.

PW29P

PW29P is a new version of the PW29 single point sensor. The power meter comes with a connector that allows flexible cable connection.

 

For the version with connector (PW29P) two different connection cables are available:

• For protection class IP68/IP69K, cable with hygienic outer sheath, lengths 3m, 6m
• For IP67, lengths 5m, 20m
