PW27A: For hygienic weighing up to 20 kg

With the PW27A series of load cells, companies producing and filling food products are well prepared to face all future challenges: Designed for low capacities from 0 to 10 kg and from 0 to 20 kg, the sensors meet strict EHEDG specifications and are therefore ideal for filling, packaging and weighing beverages and other food products.

Thanks to the special design of the stainless steel measuring body in conjunction with the solid stainless steel tubular housing, the PW27A single point weighing sensors are hermetically sealed and extremely robust (protection class IP68/IP69K). This allows fast and thorough cleaning, even with high pressure washers. Thanks to the integrated and encapsulated overload protection - up to ten times their maximum capacity - the functionality of the PW27A load cells remains unaffected even if someone accidentally steps on them (e.g. when cleaning the machine).

A load cell version is also available PW27AP - providing connector for even faster integration.

Connecting the digital world with PW27A

Using serious electronics DSE-HIE or electronics for digitizing sensors PAD, the measured values of the PW27A or PW27AP can be quickly and easily visualized, configured and transmitted to the connected PLC. The compact, rounded stainless steel housing protects the electronics from liquids and harsh environmental conditions. The DSE-HIE is recommended for use in applications with strict hygiene standards.
