Load cell PW15AH with IP69K.

HBM has introduced the PW15AH, a single point load cell that offers up to IP69K, the highest possible degree of protection against dust and water ingress. As a result, the sensor can also withstand cleaning with high-pressure cleaners (WAP).
IP69K means:

• Maximum load cell protection against dust ingress (IP6_).
• Maximum protection of the load cell against water ingress, including protection against high pressure or steam (IP_9K).
• The force gauge is hermetically sealed and provides a high level of safety.

The PW15AH also provides preparation for the use of a cable gland. The sensor is equipped with a thread around the cable outlet to which cable protectors from other suppliers/manufacturers can be attached. The combination of IP68 / IP69K protection and the option of using cable protection makes the PW15AH an ideal choice even for extremely harsh conditions in industrial applications.
