Soldering points for connecting strain gauges

Soldering points simplify the connection and soldering of strain gauges that must be soldered to the connection wires.

These solder points are used between connection cable and by themselves with a strain gauge. Soldering plates are offered in variants that are glued together with the strain gauge using the corresponding Adhesives. An alternative is the self-adhesive design of the solder pads, which simplifies their installation.

 

 

 

Bronze soldering points

• LS2 - bronze solder points on polyimide carrier are suitable for dynamic loads. The connection to the measured object is made by bonding. Applicable up to +180 °C, short-term up to +260 °C. The package contains 36 pairs.

 

 

Copper (gold plated) solder points

LS7, LS5 and LS4 soldering points and their self-adhesive variants

The LS7, LS5 and LS4 solder terminals are available in a standard version (option -G), which must be glued with adhesive just like conventional strain gauges, but also with a "self-adhesive" option (option _S). The back of the soldering lugs in the self-adhesive versions has an adhesive layer protected by tape.

Self-adhesive soldering pads bring the following advantages:

• No additional adhesive needed
• Faster and cleaner installation
• Installation on difficult surfaces (overhead, radial surfaces...)

 

• LS7-G / LS5-G / LS4-G - copper (gold plated) solder points on polyimide. The connection to the measured object is made by bonding. Applicable up to +180 °C, short-term up to +260 °C. The package contains 125 pairs. Only suitable for applications on materials with high thermal conductivity.
• LS7_S / LS5_S / LS4_S - copper (nickel plated) solder points on polyamide in self-adhesive design. Applicable up to +180 °C, short term up to +260 °C. Package contains 125 pairs.

 

 

Soldering points LS212

• LS212-G - gold-plated solder points on polyimide. The connection to the measured object is made by bonding. Applicable up to +180 °C, short-term up to +260 °C. The package contains 125 pairs. Only suitable for applications on materials with high thermal conductivity.

 

 

Soldering points LS224

• LS224-G - gold-plated solder points on polyimide. The connection to the measured object is made by bonding. Applicable up to 180°C, short term up to 260°C. Only suitable for applications on materials with high thermal conductivity.

 

Soldering points for low and high temperatures

For special applications that require the use of solder loops at extremely high/low temperatures, this product is the right choice.
