PAD: single channel amplifier for digitizing analog sensors!
PAD electronics digitise the output of passive strain gauge load cells on a plug-and-play basis simply by connecting the sensor cable to an M12 plug, making the transition to the digital world more cost-effective and efficient. As "electronics in a tube", the PAD comes in a compact stainless steel housing and is thus ideally protected from liquids and contaminants. In addition, the PAD offers maximum precision - even in harsh environments (up to IP68/IP69K).
Accuracy class: 0.01 with 6000d certificate, Class III, IIII according to OIML R76
Interface: RS485 (4-wire, full duplex) and CANopen
High quality measurements
With a measured value resolution of up to 5,120,000 parts per 2 mV/V and complete adjustment of the measurement signal with optional or automatic filters, accuracy is guaranteed even in the presence of interference caused by strong vibrations. Protection class IP68/IP69K. Test protocol 6000d, class III, IIII according to OIML R76.
Plug & Play = plug and measure
The PAD can be easily connected to a force transducer or other strain gauge transducers using an M12 connector. "Aseptic" applications can be realized by combining it with the PW27, PW29 and PW37 load cells whose cables are terminated with M12 connectors. Depending on the application, the PAD can be installed close to the transducer or remotely in a rack.
Easy integration
The PAD measuring electronics can be conveniently integrated into various system environments using RS485 (4-wire, full duplex) and CANopen interfaces. The device is started via PC and the free PanelX software.
