PACEline CSW: Piezoelectric miniature pads for shear force measurement: Capacities from 1 kN to 8 kN

 

PACEline CSW series piezoelectric pads reliably measure shear forces in the cable direction (after mounting and adjustment). With a low design height of between 3 and 5 mm, CSW pads save space because they have the same dimensions as the PACEline CLP (for measuring normal forces).

 

Combination of pads CLP (measures in the Fz direction) with different mounting directions of one or more CSW sensors (measures in the Fy direction), you create very small measuring systems for simultaneous force measurements in different directions.

 

The PACEline CSW series shear test pad features a fixed cable assembly, is made from rust-resistant materials and provides an IP65 rating for the device.

Suitable for all standard screw connections from M6 to M14.

These piezoelectric miniature force washers are now available for all industry standard bolted joints from M26 to M14. These miniature shear force sensors can be installed in very small assemblies without the need to resize or modify bolt or stud connections.

 

Minimum space requirements

• Sensor heights are as low as 3.5 mm (CSW/1KN) to 5 mm (CSW/8KN)
• Outer diameter 12 mm to 36 mm (depending on the measuring range of the sensor)
• Integrated cable for high IP65 protection
• Piezo-typical: Low sensitivity to EMC effects.
