PACEline CHW

PACEline CHW

PACEline CHW piezoelectric force pads: for use in the temperature range -55 °C to +300 °C

The piezoelectric force measurement pads of the PACEline CHW series have standardized dimensions and are available in two versions based on different crystal sensors, i.e. quartz (for temperatures up to 200°C, type CHW-2/60kN) or gallium phosphate up to 300°C, type CHW-3/60kN). Both versions allow measurements up to -55°C.

CHW sensors can be set at room temperature due to their very low temperature sensitivity.

Nominal (rated) force: 60 kN
HBM accuracy class: 1

Extreme temperature conditions
  • For temperatures ranging from -55 °C to +300 °C
  • Minimum temperature sensitivity of the sensor ensures temperature-independent measurement results

Reliable measurement results even at extreme temperatures. Easy adjustment at room temperature allows the sensor to be used in extreme temperature ranges.

High quality
  • Welded cable for optimum protection against moisture (e.g. condensation in climate chamber applications)
  • Made of stainless steel
  • Careful workmanship and rigorous quality testing of each sensor ensures high quality with low drift and high insulation resistance

Long-term reliable results even under extremely harsh conditions (e.g. sheet metal fabrication, extreme climatic tests).

Well thought out accessories
  • Industry-tested and proven hub amplifiers - even with increased IP65 protection
  • Summing boxes and amplifiers are galvanically isolated from the test object on which they are installed
  • Wide range of low noise cables and extension adapters, available in practical lengths and with sockets suitable for hub amplifiers

The sophisticated accessories allow quick installation of the measuring system. No isolation pads are required for installation (due to galvanic isolation).
