Piezoelectric force transducers CFT series: capacities from 5 kN to 20 kN

Piezoelectric CFT force transducers are pre-tensioned and calibrated. One special feature of the sensors is that gallium phosphate is used as the sensor material, which allows for twice the sensitivity compared to conventional piezoelectric force transducers that use quartz.

The extremely small sensors are made entirely of stainless steel materials and offer the advantages typical of the piezoelectric principle: they allow the measurement of forces of several Newtons, even with high initial loads, and also the measurement of very rapid changes in force. The force transducers have a displacement of only a few µm.
