newLight FS65 Low Frequency Optical Accelerometer

The FS65 accelerometer is based on Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) technology and the newLight range of optical sensors and is a high-precision vibration sensor adapted to measure acceleration at various frequencies from 0 to 50 Hz.

The acceleration sensor can be used in a wide range of monitoring applications where low frequency but amplitude vibrations are present but relevant, including vibration measurement of civil structures. Simultaneous vibration measurements along different axes are possible using multiple accelerometers.
