MCS10
The MCS10 is a 3D sensor: it simultaneously measures force and torque along different axes.
HBM's MCS10 multi-axis encoders allow multiple forces to be measured simultaneously by measuring in three axes or coordinates (Fx, Fy, Fz).
The six-output configuration of the MCS10 sensor allows measurement of the torque applied along the axis in addition to the measured force (Mx, My, Mz).

The MCS10 therefore provides a true "three-dimensional" view of your test set-up - a 3D force transducer that also achieves excellent values in the crosstalk that can occur when measuring with multi-axis transducers.
In contrast to customized solutions, these sensors are mass-produced - this brings the advantages of shorter delivery times, stable technical parameters, but also a more interesting economic scale.
Measurement ranges up to 200kN / 3.5kNm are available.
Minimum crosstalk
The MCS10 minimizes the effects of crosstalk typically found in multi-axis transducers. Your advantage: reliable test results right from the start of the measurement.
Individual configuration
Want to measure 1 or even up to 6 values? We offer a large number of configuration options for the MCS10 that allow you to perfectly customize the sensor for your application.
Immediately ready to use thanks to TEDS.
MCS10 supports TEDS - the "electronic data sheet" is directly in the sensor body. This means that the sensor is automatically identified by the measuring electronics (PMX, QuantumX, digiCLIP) and is immediately ready for use.
Typical applications for MCS10 sensors are:
- Aircraft assembly process monitoring
- Force testing in tunnelling
- Tyre and balancing machine testing
- Measuring forces when testing products in wind tunnels
- Measurements on test benches, e.g. friction and axial forces
- Structural testing in offshore applications and solar systems
- Robotics
