LY (linear strain gauges)

LY: Linear strain gauges with one measuring grid

The LY series is the first choice for measuring deformation in one direction.

Thanks to the range of types LY1, LY2, LY4, LY5, LY6, LY7 and LY8, linear strain gauges (SGS) are available in different geometrical shapes and sizes, each of them with temperature self-compensation for steel, aluminium or according to customer requirements (7 options for different materials - see strain gauge catalogue). Strain gauges are available with nominal (rated) resistance of 120, 350, 700 or 1000 ohms.

The measuring grid is made of constantan. The material of the measuring grid carrier is polyimide.

There are also strain gauges equipped with output cable - LY4, LY9.
