KDB/2MN: Special force transducer complying with DIN EN 12390 for material testing

The special KDB force transducer has been designed to meet the requirements of DIN EN 12390. This standard describes the procedure for the verification of testing machines for building materials. In accordance with the standard, the force transducer is supplied with two hardened plates for load application. The centering pins facilitate mounting.

Four independent full bridges allow the bending moments to be measured along the total force.

In the case of a centre load, the force transducer can be used up to 3 MN. HBM offers a spherical load cell and a pressure piece for this application. This allows the KDB to be used as a reference transducer in accordance with the requirements of ISO376 class 0.5.
