Shielded cables for sensors, scales and strain gauges

If your application requires the connection of physical sensors, strain gauges or weighing sensors over a longer distance, where the sensor cable does not cover the required distance, it is advisable to use 6-core shielded cables for connection to a measuring amplifier or a measuring control panel.

The cables are supplied in predetermined lengths on coils and allow you to easily connect the sensors to the measuring electronics.

An important feature of cables is shielding, which protects the transmitted signal from electromagnetic interference (EMC). In heavily disturbed areas (e.g. near electrical drives) where large currents flow in parallel lines, it is advisable to use a 2x shielded cable. These cables have total shielding and in addition the individual conductor pairs are also shielded.

Blue 2x shielded 6-core cable CABE2 for Ex (ATEX) applications with high capacitive symmetry and PVC sheath

The blue colour of the cable is used in Ex/ATEX explosive environments and indicates an intrinsically safe installation.
