K148: Calibration unit for amplifiers with full strain gauge bridge
Calibration is the foundation of correct measurement - you should therefore place high demands on the calibration units of your amplifiers. The PC-controlled K148 calibration unit provides maximum safety and reliability for your calibration tasks.
Superior accuracy and linearity: the K148 calibration unit simulates full strain gauge bridges for amplifiers with one to eight channels. It comes with five measurement ranges in ten steps. It allows calibration of DC and carrier frequency amplifiers from 225 Hz to 4.8 kHz with measurement ranges from ±0.2 mV/V to ±100 mV/V. The calibration unit has been perfectly balanced and provides a uniquely high accuracy and linearity of 0.0025%. (0.01% for DC and carrier frequencies greater than 600 Hz). The K148 calibration unit is not only characterized by its high accuracy: save time and gain safety by connecting the K148 to a PC. The K148 is controlled via USB or RS232 and thus allows fully automatic calibration. In addition, you can set the calibration steps directly on the computer and safely retrieve the amplifier data to be calibrated on the computer.
Another plus is that you save time when calibrating systems with many amplifiers. Channels and calibration steps can be programmed as required, so verification and calibration takes little time and effort.
Wiring is less complicated because the USB port is used to power the K148: Inconvenient power supplies with wiring and having to find a power outlet are history. Even when operating the K148 manually, you get more convenience: the intuitive operation of the device is enhanced by a pleasing design that provides easy-to-use buttons. The lightweight housing can be placed even in tight spaces and can be stacked on the HBM K800 calibration unit for strain gauge quarter bridge amplifiers.
