Force transducer C6B: Robust and flexible force measurement from 200 kN to 10 MN

The C6B force sensor features an extremely attractive price/performance ratio. The design of the sensor is based on the principle used in compression rods. The C6B has a very small displacement, which makes it ideal for fast measurement of large forces, for example in impact tests or in fast pressing processes.

Other typical applications include harsh environments found in the construction, heavy industry and metalworking industries. In addition, the sensor can be used for dynamic measurements in research and development. The C6B is much more robust and flexible than its predecessor model C6A. Various mounting methods can be used and the C6B is optionally available with a justed output. Versions up to 2 MN are supplied with an internal hole to allow the use of a hinged arm. This has proved particularly useful when monitoring anchors or measuring rope tension.
