C18: Reference transducer for high pressure forces

The C18 reference force transducer measures compressive force based on the ring torsion principle and is therefore particularly insensitive to temperature gradients, lateral force and bending moment. Due to its rated capacities, the sensor is small and lightweight and therefore easy to transport and install in various locations. Its hermetically sealed stainless steel construction is IP68 rated. This ensures robust performance and long-term stability.

The rated ranges of the C18 are from 10kN to 5MN. The transducer is suitable for use as a working standard in calibration machines or as a working standard in companies that need to ensure reliable coupling of measuring equipment. The sensor is used in many national metrology institutes and is also suitable for mobile applications and for extremely accurate determination of the centre of gravity of, for example, aircraft.

The force gauge is supplied complete with mounting base and top mount for force application. No additional parts are required for load application.
