C11 Miniature force sensor: extremely compact size and excellent temperature range

The design of the load cell is based on the robust membrane principle. The C11 load cell has a high stiffness and is therefore suitable for use in the measurement of fast dynamic processes. The strain gauge principle also allows static measurements. Despite its minimal dimensions, the sensor has good accuracy. The body of the knob sensor is made of stainless steel for industrial use. The C11 is designed as a Faraday cage - the cable shield and the sensor body are galvanically coupled. This ensures interference-free measurements even under adverse EMC conditions. It also offers an excellent temperature range from -20 to +120 °C while being IP64 rated.

The load is applied from the top through a spherical "knob", which facilitates the introduction of the measured force.
