Trajectory sensors

Inductance (inductive) sensors for measuring travel (displacement, position) have penetrated many industries and research sectors due to their mechanical robustness and ability to operate continuously without maintenance. For several decades HBM has been offering path sensors operating in resolutions ranging from micrometers in creep laboratories for example, to applications in industrial production for process monitoring or monitoring deformation of structures during load tests.
